
There are no fees other than the premium payment to “join” SSCIP.
As a SSCIP Member, you must comply with specific Loss Control Requirements. The category of the organization will determine the extent of the required loss control conditions. Upon joining SSCIP you will receive a letter, either providing a sample loss control program or advising that a survey will be conducted. A loss control consultant will assist you in formulating a loss control program if one is not currently in place. The SSCIP driver requirements are attached for your reference.
As a SSCIP Member, you will receive a quarterly informative newsletter, the
SSCIP’r, featuring articles on safety, controlling losses, insurance coverage issues and other topics of interest to the social service industry.
As a SSCIP Member, you are invited and welcome to attend any of the quarterly Board of Trustees Meetings and, if interested, become a Trustee or join one of the Committees.
As a SSCIP Member, you will have the opportunity to attend specialized seminars and workshops on subjects that concern social services, such as:
